Rebirth

The website has been resurrected and although I think the current readership is hovering around .0135 ppl/month, I decided it was worth it to dig through the stacks of internet oblivion to rescue it from the jaws of irrelevance. With that, I present to you a picture of John Mayer playing guitar with The Dead. More fish related things coming soon, maybe.

A Year of Incredible

I have a tendency to get retrospective at the end of a calendar year as many of us do. This year I cant help but sit here and think, wow. At this time last year I sat in my home in Alabama and wondered if my dream of getting to live in the place that my hearts beats deeply for would come to fruition. Insanity

As the sun broke the canyon rim once more I didn't feel as though this episode would end any differently than all the others before it. Cast, mend, step. Repeat. Birthday Brown

I knew he was there. Just like I know he is there most times while standing across from a tasty run, only this time he was. A bit of good fortune and a friends advice along with some technologically aided study had put me in  this place at this time, with the sun just barely hidden, no crowds, just an open run of dry fly possibility. Several drifts with no interest had me questioning the conditions but a lucky guess as the fingers slipped into the fly box changed things. The one spot I had been waiting for was coming up on the next cast. Slowly, methodically I waded through the run making sure...
